How to Reset Transactions

Reset Transactions lets you erase all transaction-related records from your account while keeping your products, users, branches, customers, and account settings.

This option is only available for accounts on Trial.

Before You Reset

Resetting transactions is permanent and cannot be undone.

This will delete transaction data from all branches, including:

  • Invoices

  • Documents

  • Inventory records

  • Price histories

  • Deposits

  • Reward transactions

  • Reward promotions

It will also reset:

  • Product average cost back to product cost

  • Product purchased quantity and purchased amount

  • Customer available points to zero

  • Transaction line credits back to the default free credit

This will not delete:

  • Products

  • Users

  • Branches

  • Customers

  • Suppliers

  • Account settings

If you also need to reset all your products, use Reset Products instead.

Steps

  1. Go to Settings.

  2. Open Stockroom.

  3. Select Stockroom Setup.

  4. Scroll to Reset Transactions.

  5. Click RESET TRANSACTIONS.

  6. Read the confirmation message carefully.

  7. Type RESET in the confirmation field.

  8. Click RESET TRANSACTIONS to confirm.

The reset will be processed in the background. Depending on the number of transactions in your account, it may take a while to complete.
