Imonggo lets you upload a CSV file to quickly create your customers. Here's how:

First, you have to prepare the file that you want to upload. The required column headers are first_name, last_name, name and email. You can download this sample file.

Then do the following:

  1. Go to Settings > Data Manager > Upload Tool.

  2. Choose the CUSTOMERS option under Data to Upload, then click the Choose File button to find the CSV file that you initially prepared.

3. You should see a preview of the contents of the file if there are no errors. Then click the PROCEED UPLOAD button.

4. Once the upload is finished, you should see the new customers in the Customers page.

By the way, you can also add other columns to the CSV file if you want to add more information. Here are the other column headers that you can use: 

  • mobile - Mobile number (numbers only, no spaces or punctuation marks allowed)b

  • fax - Fax number (numbers only, no spaces or punctuation marks allowed)

  • telephone - Telephone number (numbers only, no spaces or punctuation marks allowed)

  • company_name - Company name

  • street - Street address

  • zipcode - Zip code

  • country - Please use two-letter country shortcodes

  • state - U.S. only. Please use two-letter shortcodes.

  • birthday - Please use this format: YYYY-MM-DD
